Yes, Father God, we thank you that this war has continued on and on and on, and we thank you that you're faithful to complete what you have begun in us, and that you've placed us here for such a time as this and for such a purpose as this. So, Lord God, I pray that you give strength to your people, cause us to stand and having done all to stand and not to waver, not to falter, not to be afraid, Lord God, and to understand that we are working with eternal beings, the God of heaven and earth and the devil that hates us. So, Lord God, I pray that you'd strengthen us, encourage us, and help us as we stand and having done all to stand, receive and understand, give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and not to faint. And in these last days, let us know that the promises that you've given us are true, and they are reliable, and they will come to pass, Father God, and that no weapon formed against us will prosper, that no word said or deed done or action taken will be able to be used by the enemy to bring forth any shame, trouble, or reproach. So, bless and strengthen us now, in Jesus' name, amen. Well, last time

1:32 we were talking about things to look forward to in the coming days, and we started out by talking about what Jesus had said the night he was betrayed, right before that, hours before that. He said, let not your heart be troubled, John 14.1, let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in me. The disciples at that point were very troubled. Judas had just left the meeting and went out to betray Jesus. They had just had their feet washed, and now Jesus is talking to them about a lot of things, the last, you know, final discourse he gave them before he was crucified. And so he says, in my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. So what we had talked about last time was the promise, the peace, the tribulation, coming again, Jesus coming as the bridegroom, the bridegroom is coming back to receive us and bring us to the place of our eternal habitation. And those would be, Jesus coming, the Son of Man is coming back. And we talked about the rapture. So this time we're going to talk about a couple more things, starting with 2 Peter, who was not oblivious to what was going on, although I think Peter and Paul and those guys, they kind of thought that they were going to go through this themselves, some of this stuff.

2:56 But really, actually, they ended up prophesying and predicting it for us. So, you know, there was a sense of immediacy in that and what we call the early church. They were thinking the Lord could just come back any time. I mean, he just left. Well, he could. Yeah, right. But I mean, they were anticipating that. Paul, you know, basically Peter and Paul kind of fanned the flames of their anticipation. But some of them were worried that the Lord had already come and they had been left behind. And Paul says, no, no, no, that's it's not it's not happened yet. But in second Peter, chapter three, let's kind of get a little setting about in which we're looking forward to these things. Second Peter, chapter three, beginning with verse one, beloved. Now I write to you this second epistle referring to first Peter in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. So he's he's authenticating what he is saying here based on the words of the prophets, the prophetic words of the Old Testament, the New Testament and Jesus himself. So he is building his case on these words and promises, declarations that had already been made on behalf of God

4:28 and versus three and four, knowing this first, that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts and saying, where is the promise of his coming? All things continue as they were from the beginning of creation. This is what the devil is hoping, that we will just slip ourselves into an automatic pilot, ask no questions, go through life with just a droning apathy and that there will be no urgency or remembrance of the promise of his coming. This is where I think things really fall apart. People get so caught up in the moment, the day, the urgency, the crisises, the drama of the day that they forget that there are promises of Jesus is coming back. And so here's what happens then when we forget the urgency and the reality of what the Lord says is this for this, they are willfully.

5:28 Willfully forget verse five, that by the word of God he's giving an example here. The heavens were bold and the earth standing out of the water and in the water by which the world that then existed perished being flooded with water referring to the great flood. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. And let's continue through verse nine. But beloved, do not forget this one thing that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. That's how God keeps time.

6:12 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some count slackness. What is the promise? What is long-suffering toward us not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. So the promise is concerning his return. The promise is concerning salvation. The promises that he's made and we can either take it or leave it. We can either believe it or not believe it. We can either be sucked up by the urgency and the immediacy of the enchantments of the hour or we can look into the word of God and be awakened into the fullness of the revelation of his coming. And so he's talking about there's going to be an atmosphere right at the time before the time of the Lord's coming that people say, well, you know, we've heard about him coming for so long and he probably it's not going to happen. Yeah, but he says in verse 10 of 2nd Peter 3, but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise and the elements will melt with fervent heat. Both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Wait a minute. We get so excited about the works on the earth. The many things building roads, career, all this stuff. It's basically all that it's going to be burned up. It talks about Paul writes in another epistle about I think it's in

7:44 1st Corinthians or 2nd Corinthians about there's wood, hay and stubble, you know, basically or gold, silver and precious jewels. So basically he's saying that, okay, our works, what we do is either on the fire is it fire is your is your life fireproof or what you is what you're doing fireproof. Some people just spend their time and just some of the most ridiculous things, wasteful and wasteful things. And it's like wood, hay and stubble. So when the fire hits wood, it hits hay, it hits stubble. It's going to burn up.

8:24 But when other works that are done in obedience to the Lord like gold, silver and precious stones, the fire can hit them, but the fire will not destroy those. But I think a lot of people are deceived into thinking that their works are fireproof and they're not. And this is not the topic of today. But the thing is, he said he says he's going to check test those works, whether they will endure the fire of God's judgment or whether they will not. And so then he says therefore, he says, since all these things will be dissolved. So he just said that the fervent heat will melt them, whether that's an atomic bomb or the sun exploding or whatever it all is. I don't think the sun is going to explode. I think the sun is faithful. But both the earth and the works will melt. Then he says, therefore, since all these things will just be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and guidance? There's a prophet, a prophecy, and I think it's Zechariah where he talks about in that day of battle that the very faces, the tongues, the eyes of the people in the battle, their faces, their eyes will be dissolved and drain off, melt off of their off of them because of the fervent heat.

9:48 And so would that be a nuclear blast? I would think it could be. So we've seen a little evidence of that already in the atomic bomb. But we see that there is going to be a huge immediate, sudden, indisputable transit. Nobody's going to be able to do a podcast on this and this is a dissolving with fervent heat. Nobody is going to be able to stand on the side and be the expert here. We're all going to be either in it or out of it if we're already gone from this place. But the earth is going to melt, burn up. And you know that's, I guess, the only thing that can be done because the earth has sustained so much bloodshed, so much violence, so much secret abuse, so much rot and filth and violation, degradation. The poor, precious earth, the beautiful earth that God gave us, the garden, even some that's still very evidence in the beauty of nature and the things around us that way, but this earth has sustained such trauma and such violence that the only thing that can be left to do is to burn it up. He said, therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, so that word dissolve, he's using that word a couple of times, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness? He said, in light of the fact that these things are going to be absolutely removed, dissolved, you know, who can stand that fervent heat?

11:16 Who can stand it? Who's going to be able to stand it? No one. Yeah, and I'm just thinking just that reference for the wood, hay and stubble or straw, gold, silver, precious stones is in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 if you'd like to talk about that, to study that and see what will last, what will endure the fire and what won't. But the point of this parable, really this passage I should say, is the scoffing. You know, the people are going to say, where is the promise of his coming? This is all, we've heard all this before. And this is actually one of the signs of the end times, of Jesus returning, is this very scoffing, this very skepticism, this very rewriting the narrative.

12:00 Satan is always trying to rewrite the narrative to put people in a place of deception and apathetic passivity, if you will, so that they're not alarmed. There's no alarm sounding. And so this is why Peter's saying this, come on guys, it may look like it's not ever going to happen, but God is not willing that we should perish. And remember, this is one of the things we're coming and looking forward to in the last days. What manner of man, nevertheless, he says, we, according to his promise, so look forward to a new heaven and new earth in which dwells white righteousness. So there are many, many promises that God has made us that we think are not that big of a deal, but they are to God and he will bring them to pass. And let us not be shocked when we see them before us.

12:52 He says, therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent. Be diligent or you're going to be dissolved. You know, pay attention or you're going to get smoked. And so the issue that we have here is relating everything here to eternity, relating time to eternity, relating what we do here to eternity. I know one guy that was talking about it years ago, he said, you know, one of the things he was deciding when he was making a decision on something, what will matter?

13:32 Will this matter a hundred years from now? Will this go beyond his lifetime? And we have to really look at that and what matters for eternity? What matters for eternity most of all is the souls of people and getting them into a right relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ so they can enjoy this new heaven and the new earth and righteousness dwells. It seems like the solution to all these horrible catastrophic problems is so simple.

14:12 It is simply accepting Jesus Christ and receiving his salvation. So we look in Revelations 19 and we begin the downward descent, if you will, the return of Jesus Christ. There's a couple of great promises in Revelation 1. He says, verse 1, After these things I heard a loud voice, a great multitude in heaven, saying, hallelujah, salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God. For true and righteous are his judgments, because he has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged on her the blood of his servants shed by her.

14:52 So we see the first good news thing is finally, finally we see a lot of people being exposed these days but very, very little true justice or judgment. The God of heaven and earth is going to deal with the harlot, the whore, who has been used by Satan to corrupt and flatter and entice and seduce the earth to follow her in her promises of fornication. This is a system that's known as Babylon, which means confusion. This whole world system under the influence of the prince of the power of the air that's affected basically tainted everything on earth.

15:36 This is going to all come down. It's going to be totally dismantled and removed, destroyed. This is good news. It's just like what you were saying earlier, Marjorie, about the earth and all the atrocities and trauma and all the evil stuff, the groaning. Romans chapter 8 talks about the creation groaning. Actually, some scientists, non-believing scientists years ago, they tried to figure out what is there a sound? Is there an overall sound that the earth makes?

16:16 What they said, what they did after all their research, it's groaning, it's groaning. It's creaking. It sounds like, remember when you were in the movie, the Titanic, when it was breaking up, the creaking and the timbers and the metal creaking. This is kind of that. We're on the Titanic. Like what you were saying too, sometimes things, if you have an item in your house, like a T-shirt, maybe it's a T-shirt you've worn for years and years and finally you put it on one day and it just tears apart because it's basically rotted.

16:56 It's worn out. You just get rid of it. That's what's happening with this new creation. It's a new heaven and a new earth. We're not going to miss this one. Now we're picking up that theme again of the marriage supper of the Lamb. Remember the virgins in 25 of Matthew, they're waiting for the bridegroom. Here's the bridegroom, here's the reception, here's the supper, here's the wedding. Verse 7, let us be glad and rejoice and give him glory for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his wife has made herself ready. We are the wife, we are the bride of Christ.

17:36 And to her what is granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, write, I am the bride of those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Going back to Romans chapter 8, it says does God predestine certain people to be part of the kingdom, get saved, be part of the marriage supper of the Lamb? Is God picking favorites? Is he excluding some and just calling others? Romans chapter 8 really answers that question well and it speaks to the invitation that we're talking about here in Revelations 19.

18:16 In Romans it says let's see. Verse 29? No, it's actually oh, I'm in the wrong chapter, no wonder I can't find it. Romans chapter 8, yeah, 29. For whom he foreknew Who was that? Everybody. Everybody he foreknew. He also predestined So who did he predestine? Everybody. He foreknew, which was everybody. To be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover Continuing this argument. Okay. Whom he predestined Who was that again? Everybody. Okay. He also called And whom he called he also justified. Okay, stop for a minute though.

19:08 There's a call. So there has to be an answer to the call. There has to be an answer to the call in order to be predestined in a sense. God isn't forcing people to go to the marriage supper of the Lamb or follow him, but he has given the invitation. So when you go to a marriage. Parable of the Great Supper There were people that were invited to come they received the invitation but they were so busy with their wife and their land and their oxen and all that stuff that they did not come and so they missed out. They refused the call. You're not chosen if you refuse the call.

19:48 Well, they put something else before that. Something was more important to them. And so they're called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. So the blessed are the ones who answered the call or sent the RSVP and showed up for the marriage. So the thing is it's not God choosing us, it's us choosing God because God already chose us and he called us and those he called, only those who responded to the call that's the only ones who he could work with, he justified and those he justified he glorified. So God, in the middle of that process is our response. And many people have called upon the name of the Lord and they are saved and many people refused call even though there is an invitation out there yet. But God does say he lights every man that comes into the world. So there is some sense of God being there and declaring himself unto them. So he says here, blessed are those verse 9 of Revelation 19, who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb and he said, these are the two sayings of God.

20:56 Then he fell down and worshipped him. And then we go on to say in verse 11 this is another big exciting thing that's coming then I saw the heavens opened and behold a white horse and he who sat on him was called faithful and true and in righteousness he judges and makes war. So this connects with 1st or 2nd Thessalonians where he comes to snatch us up to join with him to be riders on these horses a horse, faithful and true, his eyes were like the flame of fire and the armies in verse 14, the armies of heaven clothed in linen followed him on white horses so he's gathering up an army but I believe he gathers them through not only those who have passed away in front of us before us but also those who are remaining at that time he's going to snatch us up and we're going to saddle up and come back with Jesus in this wonderful, beautiful army of white horses.

21:56 You know the Lord is, the rapture is coming and we hang out in heaven for a while, the married supper of the Lamb and then boom we come back with Jesus on the white, with the white horses some people think well it's just he's going to catch us up and then everybody's going to be gathered, basically go up and come down right away. We don't know. We don't know. The thing is the fact is, well we do know there's a married supper, there is a married supper of the Lamb and the fact is that he is coming and no one can stop him, nothing can stop him. The chronological order though appears to be that Babylon is destroyed, has fallen has taken down, then the married supper of the Lamb is occurring maybe at the same time, simultaneously, we don't know and that married supper usually, marriages in the Old Testament usually lasted about 7 days so it could be the 7 days, 7 years, I don't know of the tribulation or maybe not because we could be already in the tribulation but then, but this exciting part then I saw heaven open and behold a white horse he who sat on him was faithful and true and in righteousness he judges and makes war now this time Jesus is not coming on a donkey and entering on the shouts of son of David. He's not coming incognito he's not coming with waving palm branches

23:28 like he came as a baby. Yeah, he really actually had to come incognito or the forces of darkness would have killed him immediately if he could have. But they tried to kill him all during his life. He slipped through the 7 heavens or how many heavens, he slipped from eternity he came down camouflaged concealed and took on the form of a baby and Satan missed it. He didn't see this as an invasion he didn't even know it was one baby, there's many babies, we're not going to worry about the babies and so God actually came into the earth to take up and set up this rebellion, slipped in as an infant as a baby born of a human mother a virgin. And so his eyes were like a flame of fire and on his head were many crowns what does that mean? It means he's conquered many situations, nations, people kingdoms. He had a name written on that no one knew except himself. So a name identifies you so he has many names, many offices, many kingdoms and thrones and powers and authorities and every knee shall bow to him, every kingdom under the earth, those clandestines, those who belong to the snake pit and the swamp, everybody is going to bow to Jesus Christ, however and wherever they have found themselves we will all bow. His robe is dipped

25:00 in blood, and his name is called the Word of God that blood is the blood of the covenant, that's the mark of the price fully paid for the wages of sin is death and the thing that Satan demanded of us was our death and so Jesus is wearing that dipped robe, dipped in blood his blood as a badge, as an honor, as an authority I mean and the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen, white and clean followed him on white horses. This is a big deal this is a culminating event, this is the final word, this is the end. Now out of his mouth goes a sharp sword with it he should strike the nations so those nations are going to be gathered as we've seen in the prophetic words of Isaiah, Ezekiel, what not, they're going to be gathered together against Christ and they're going to be the showdown is going to be in Israel in the battle of Armageddon the valley of Megiddo and so this is where he's going to strike the nations with the breath of his mouth really and he himself will rule them with the rod of his mouth and he himself treads the winepress of the fiercest of the wrath of almighty God so he is going to be the one who brings that final victory when people, the atrocities are so unspeakable and people have been so devastated and trashed and their lives have been so stripped and ripped this is where justice comes when God in his fierce wrath begins to tread out and tread on these wicked

26:32 the serpents, I believe he's treading a winepress full of the snakes the scorpions, the pythons, the leviathans, the bow constrictors the evil, I believe he's treading on a winepress filled with snakes because those snakes are what has infested the world and he comes with a name written King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Absolutely, absolutely and it says in Isaiah chapter 7, I think it's chapter 9, the government shall be upon his shoulders, he's the one that's going to rule the kingdoms of this world, I think last time have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his grace and he shall reign forever and ever. And I believe that Jude in that little tiny book right before Revelation, Jude who is the half brother of Jesus, in verse 14, he gives us a peak, he gives us an absolute cut and paste word for word passage out of the book of Enoch, he says now Enoch the seventh from Adam Enoch was called the seventh from Adam because there was also another Enoch and so God wants us to distinguish this Enoch from that one was from the Cain line, but this is Enoch the seventh from Adam who prophesied about these men also saying behold the Lord comes with 10,000 of his saints to execute judgment on all and to convict all who are ungodly among them of their ungodly deeds

28:04 which they have committed in an ungodly way and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. This is a direct quote from, and then it says these are murmurous complainers walking according to their own lusts with their mouth great swelling words flattering the people to gain advantage. So he is declaring a judgment upon these ungodly with their ungodly deeds and he's talking about the 10,000, behold the Lord comes with 10,000 of his saints. That's a reference to what we just read in Revelation 19 you know that he's coming with the armies and the armies of heaven clothed with fine linen white and clean followed him on white horses out of his mouth goes a sharp two-edged sword. These are the coming days. These are the things that we're excited about. These are the things and then we see in verse 20, the beast is captured on a false prophet who works signs in his presence. All of this technology that Satan is amassing to create his holograms and his apparitions and mirages, his AI all of these things are now necessary for the enemy to be able to present his challenge to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Now God is not AI he is not a subject to any of that. Those mirages, lookalikes, counterfeits because you know that everything that AI basically does is a mirage and a lookalike

29:36 and a counterfeit. It's deceptive. It's not real. Is this real? Is this a real person or is this some AI made up? So God is going to strike down all of Satan's intentions and activities and attempts to thwart him. So let us not be deceived in these last days as we're looking for the coming of the King. And do not be afraid. As God leads you, speak the truth to people. Know the Bible. Know your word. Know the words of God. Know the promises of God. Walk in the promises of God. These days can be as beautiful as they are horrible if we look to the Lord and trust him. He is not here to kill us. He is not here to cause us to do horrible things to us, to teach us lessons. God is here to deliver his children just like if you were God you would want to deliver your children out of the Holocaust at the end. And so we just thank the Lord for his faithfulness to keep us in all of our ways. But we have to answer the call and we have to be standing as he leads us on the rock Christ Jesus as he declares that's where safety is. And there's things about these days and these times that we don't understand. Theologians have debated about it for hundreds of years.

31:00 But the point is that Jesus Christ is Lord. He's returning. He's going to rule and reign someday. And we are here to love him, to live for him. And keep in mind 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 9, the Lord is not slack concerning his promises. Some call it slackness, but his long suffering toward us. He's patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And this is the message of Jesus. When he came here, he said, repent, change your mind, change your direction. Follow me because the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And this is the message we were called to bring as well.

31:44 And there's an urgency about it. Repent and believe, not just believe, but you can't believe without repenting. You can't repent without believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. We're the ones that are called by his spirit. Because God's promises are based on his integrity and God cannot lie. And so even though the promises seem vague, far out and unbelievable at times, they will all come to pass. And even as we move towards this destination, this final destination, we see the truth unveiling and being revealed more and more like, oh, yeah, I can see how that would happen back back in Paul's day. Oh, he wouldn't have any idea except to be John. Those guys saw it, but they didn't even know what they were seeing. They just described it. But we're saying, oh, yeah, I can see where that is. That's that. This is that those. Oh, those those are drones. Those are not, you know, the things that we have now seen invented can look a revelation. Things there's things that the locusts, the drones. Oh, yeah, for sure. You know, missiles, high speed aircraft, all these things. So, but Lord, we just thank you, Lord. We look forward. There's a new heaven and a new earth coming in which righteousness dwells.

32:56 But in the meantime, here we live in a meantime of lots of pressure, lots of treachery, lots of treachery, lots of minefields and mind games. So, Lord, we just ask that you just help us, Lord, to be faithful and true to you, that we will just love you, devote ourselves to you, be filled with your word and your spirit. And Lord, we're the link between eternity and between heaven and earth. We're the link between basically heaven and hell and help us to really rejoice, rejoice in the opportunities that we have to share your love and truth with people around us. And remember that the joy of the Lord is our strength in these days.

33:40 Amen. And Lord, as we live in that joy, let us be faithful as you open doors, as you open hearts to speak and to share and demonstrate your word to those around us. Let us not grow weary in well-doing for in due season. Due season, it's coming. In due season, we will reap if we do not faint. So, God bless us and God keep us. Let the spirit of the living God, the Holy Spirit that dwells in you, give us counsel and wisdom, protection and lead us into all truth. Father God, we thank you for the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your word and thank you for what you're doing. We trust you in Jesus' name. Amen.

I know a lot of people don't want to talk about the war. They just want the nice side of the gospel. But there's the heads and tails of the same coin, that there is a true battle going on for our souls. And if we don't put the Devil in that equation, we will not, we will never, never make any sense of the whole thing.
