0:40 And so we ask that you give us encouragement, courage, wisdom, counsel, fortitude, the ability to stand and having done all to stand in these very evil and wicked days. And we thank you Lord Jesus too that you have shown us you've given us your commandments you've given us the church you've given us your word you've given us the Holy Spirit you said I will never leave you or forsake you so Lord we thank you for your being in the very midst of us now and giving us your wisdom may this be your counsel to us Father today in Jesus name and we thank you also that no weapon formed against us will prosper that no word said no deed done no action taken will be able to be used by the enemy to come against us to destroy, divide He hurt or hindered the work of God in our lives, in our families, in our health, in any place, anything that has anything to do with us.

1:26 Lord, you are faithful to keep us, Father, in Jesus' name. Amen. Hey, we're talking about a very controversial subject today. Oh. Yeah. Politics and religion. Yeah, yeah. You know, they say you want to avoid at family gatherings. Yeah. Like at Christmas, Thanksgiving, you don't want to talk about politics and religion because it brings division and confusion. No offense, and that's the whole point of it, isn't it? Well, we could call it, you know, not only politics and religion, but God and government. Right, same thing. But so the people, you know, they say, like you said, they can't mix them. You shouldn't mix them, you can't mix them. But the enemy has done everything he can to separate the church and the state, just cause us to see them as separate.

2:13 That's a big lie that we've perpetrated in the public realm. And in the church. In schools, in the church. Separation of church and state. And it's a division. Again, Satan is in the dividing thing, so he wants to set us up against ourselves in our own institutions. The Bible is full of nothing but examples about the intervention or the interactions between God and his people, the prophets and the kings. You know, in Jeremiah and the courts of the kings, God set up Saul to be the king at the request of the people. Jeremiah was in the court of the king. You know, Daniel was in the Babylonian court.

2:56 Josiah, the king, restored the altar and the temple. All of these things are just constant mingling of the state and the church working together to do God's will. So God raised up these kings, and some of them were really good kings, some of them were very evil kings. But the prophets were right there to bring the word of the Lord and the correction to the government. Yeah. And so today, but even in the founding of our founding fathers in the Constitution. Yeah, let me address that a little bit. The founding fathers of our Constitution here in the United States, their intention never was to separate church and state.

3:44 But it was that the state was not to dictate to the church. There was not to be any kind of state religion. So there was the freedom to operate without the state control. Right, right, exactly. They wanted to make sure that the same thing that had happened in England and that the European countries didn't happen here. Didn't happen in the United States. Yeah, exactly. So we see lots of examples in the Bible, Old Testament and New Testament, where God intervened through his prophets to deal with the kings, the countries, the nations, bring him into warning, bring him into correction, bring him back to the righteousness of the word of God.

4:29 Yeah, Isaiah chapter 1, verse 23, God is speaking to the nation, to the leaders. He says, your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and follows after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow come before them. And that sounds typical of the day and age in which we're living. Yes, we've degenerated again. We're in another cycle of degeneration. We're at almost the end of that cycle of... Depravity or whatever you want to call it where the Lord has to bring in, captivity, a judgment of some sort like he did in the Old Testament but this time I believe we're heading for revelations and that's the final cycle here but you know when you separate the church and the state and we work to get those things separated out like for example taking the Bible out of the school and then in comes the shooters we take the prayer out of the But it's like the old saying that we took the Ten Commandments off the walls, now we have to have policemen in the halls.

5:37 That's exactly right. So taking prayer out of public gatherings, taking prayer and wisdom out of government meetings, taking the Ten Commandments, like you said, off the walls. What it brings is rioting. We're reaping the effects, the fruits of this rebellion. We have the riots, we have the drugs, we have the homelessness in our streets. Poverty, and political atrocities are allowed to rule and reign in the lives of us, our children, and the unborn even. So you see, when you start to separate them, it brings division, and it removes the moral codes, and it opens the door for immorality, for perversions.

6:22 So we see that actually the fruit of what we've tried to do, separating church from state, or politics from religion. It's like casting God and his law out of our laws, out of our lives, out of our laws, has made us lawless. And so here's the deal. We pass legislation that is contrary to God's rule and law, the law of love, which makes abominations and things that are unlawful before God, legal and acceptable. Yeah. And Isaiah said, woe unto those who call good evil and evil good.

7:02 This is what we have, that murdering of innocent children is women's health care. It's legal. It's lawful. We call it women's health care. And the old saying that- But that doesn't make it right. No, nothing that is morally wrong is ever legally right, right? So in Isaiah chapter 9, verse 16, it says, the leaders of this people caused them to err. In other words, the leaders are wrecking the country. The leaders are ruining the country and leading them in the wrong way. And those who are led by them are destroyed. You follow the advice and the flow and the rule of godless politicians.

7:46 The more God goes out, the more the devil comes in. You're going to be destroyed. We're going to be destroyed. The nation's going to be destroyed and is being destroyed. It's like Satan wants to separate, divide, divide, divide. She sets the church up in opposition to the state. And so, you know what? We have to have a moral law and order society in order to be able to promote God's goodness in the gospel and safety. And who is to do that? It's the church. It's not the government that's to do that. The church is supposed to be a voice not under the control of the government, but a voice to the government to the voice of God, the voice of God to the government. Now.

8:28 And the prophets of the Old Testament, like Jeremiah said, you're going to speak against the princess, against the kings. Right, to correct them. You're going to correct them. Warn them. And he did that. They didn't receive it very well. In Isaiah's day, they didn't receive it very well for the most part. Well, they rejected the prophets, yeah. Same way today. But you can say, now, where are the prophetic voices? We call them whistleblowers now. And the whistleblower, basically, if you're a whistleblower calling something into existence, warning somebody about what's going on in government or other places, you're putting your life in your hands.

9:11 Well, we understand that the separation of the church and the state is the enemy's intention to, God never intended for that separation. His divine guidance and counsel should be our first consideration in governing and walking and keeping society and culture and nations on the right track. So human government is necessary for law and order, and God knows that. And he's provided ways for us to protect us and our inalienable God-given rights to life, liberty, and the freedom to pursue our happiness. So rejecting the counsel of God in this matter in human affairs, pushing God out, rejecting his counsel, you stay over here, God, on this side, because we're going to do what we want over on this side.

9:59 We don't want your judgment. We don't want your interference with what we're doing. So we reject the counsel of God in our human activities and lives. And that has left the door open for the entrance and the involvement, total involvement of the evil one. Either we're going to be listening to God or we're going to be listening to the enemy. Here's a contradictory It's kind of a conundrum right here In Romans 13. Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. That is hard to believe in this day and age. Well, God appoints them, honey, but the thing is that there is rejection of that.

10:43 We go back to Romans where it says that they rejected the acknowledgement of God even at the level of thanksgiving and gratitude. The basic levels of thankfulness, And that opened the door to what we're dealing with, and the devil has gotten pulled into the whole mix. So God, you know, back in the day, you've got this ammunition of Paul to render to, you know, obey the laws of the land, so to speak. Yeah, let me read the rest of that. Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.

11:24 Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good and you will have praise of the same. So he says, talks about these government leaders, for he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid for he does not bear the sword in vain for he is God's minister and avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. But now we have crossed the line. The government has crossed the God line. And so they're trying to afflict, inflict, enforce, legislate. Passed laws that would legislate abomination and evil. And at that point where they crossed the line, where they crossed God's laws to that place of murder and violence and rage and bloodshed, that's when we must stand and take our stand. And I think this is where people get a little confused.

12:15 We like peace. We like law and order. We don't like chaos. We're trained to kind of be submissive and obedient. But at the point, we must give an account to God. So we have to be more aware of God's desire and his heart. And we must legislate or stand for what God wants rather than at this point, we're in that place where we're going down the slide of depravity. Yeah, well, it says here that these, this is in the general sense, in the ideal sense regarding human government. He says, rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Now they're a terror to good works. they are because things are tipped upside down it's it's backwards it's upside down this is the state that we've gotten into but go way back back back to romans 1 this is romans 13 but in romans 1 paul is talking about the rejecting of the acknowledgement of god even at that most level basic level of gratitude and thankfulness but that has opened the door for god to have to he's obligated to give us our desires which because we have a free will and god doesn't force us to do the right thing.

13:22 So he's obligated to give us what we want. And at the end, what we're getting. God has turned them over or allowed them to get what they want, which is a debased mind and the pursuit of vile passions. And so that we have come to the place now where the endorsement of every kind of vile abuse and perversion happens. Including all of the abominations and assaults against human life, are being promoted as acceptable. So we can see now the fruit of what we've done has opened the door for these abominations to become normal and seen as normal. As you said, in Isaiah 1, he talks about political bribery.

14:03 Isaiah talks about bribery, political bribery, which causes the—and they're not listening to the wisdom of their counselors. They're not defending the fatherless Daniel of course was a very high political figure in the position in many governments three or four I think Babylonian the Persian and and and Cyrus so and and and we see Jeremiah again as you said earlier commanded by God to declare his word to the kings and the pre and the princes and so this is our duty to be the messengers the administrators, of God, the truth of bringing the truth of God into our situation. In general, like Romans 13, in general, we're to be submissive to the government.

14:46 And Jesus said, he paid his taxes, right? Yeah, he did. And Paul goes on in Romans 13 to say, okay, pay taxes in a lot of our... He didn't say it was good. He just said he had to do it. It's like, oh my goodness, really? Do we have to? I mean, sometimes we can look at it We're paying taxes to support and undergird so much immorality. It's like, oh, where's the line here? Is there a line that we cross? There is a line, and the line has been drawn now, and it's getting much more obvious, the good and the bad, the righteous and the unrighteous, because we're going to be able to see it now, but the fruit is coming into full maturity.

15:29 In the beginning, it was just a little plant. We didn't know really what it was going to bring forth. But the devil wants us to believe that the government is our god and many people rely upon that they think oh he's that's where i get my hand out so we are you know and so we are the here's here's how it kind of goes down so if the government is god and we are the government then we are god and we have the the power to do and shape and whatever we want because i think ultimately that the devil's plan is for us to shake off the shackles of morality and truth to become our own gods. And so, you know, we're slaves to this government. At the same time, there's a twist in the backside of that is that we can throw off God's word, God's laws, and we can do what we want.

16:13 You know, evolution was kind of like that too. Evolution, you know, to ascending or evolving was actually descending to decide and declare that we come from monkeys, which allowed us to circumvent or get around the requirements of submitting to our creator. So everything here in the devil's order is to get us. Air quotes, free from the control of God so that we can be our own gods. And yet with that decision to follow our freedoms, to reject God, throw off the shackles of righteousness, truth, and justice, to be our own gods, we have actually stepped right into the devil's cage. We've become his servants. So Jesus said, by their fruits, you shall know them.

16:57 And by this time, we ought to see the fruit. It's pretty clear. We don't want to make it something it's not. We don't to say this is good when it's not. Don't call evil good and good evil. So what is this kind of rejection, removal of God from and religion and his morality and his justice from our lives? What is the fruit of that? It's anarchy. It's danger. It's loss of safe spaces for our homes, our schools, our government, our children. Everything is up for grabs. So the separation of church, which is God, and state, which is, of course, you know, the God of this world, causes the moral decline of every government system of human interaction, from the small businesses to the corporations to the top-line levels of government and politics.

17:53 Yeah, in Psalm chapter 2, verse 1, verses 1 through 2. Why do the nations rage and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers to take counsel together against the Lord and against his anointing, saying, let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us. And then God says, he who sits in the heavens shall laugh. The Lord shall hold them in derision. He shall speak to them in his wrath and distress them in his deep displeasure. So ultimately God is still going to be God no matter what we think we can do.

18:35 He rules the nations. Yeah, he does. According to Isaiah also, it says the government shall be upon his shoulders. We're talking about Isaiah 9, 6 and 7. The government shall be upon the shoulders of the Messiah. But there's just so much of this restraint being cast off, thrown off, and then morality and disorder and injustice are trampled in the streets and it opens the door, like we said, for wickedness. Their leaders, Isaiah 9, 16, cause them to error. So the Constitution, going back to the Constitution and then the rules, the laws that we were first set up under, according to our righteous forefathers, The Constitution was never intended for the church to rule the state or for the state to rule the church.

19:28 So it wasn't set up for either to rule the other, but for an honorable pursuit of truth and justice to be their mutual endeavor for the safety and the righteousness, the liberty, the freedom of the people. The church is really to be the conscience of the government. Yeah, that's a good idea. Let's do that. the conscience of the government, to set forth the standard. Moral standard, righteousness. Not to rule human government, but to make sure human government is really according to, God's will. God's will. But the more that we follow moral judgment within us, the less laws we have to have because we're already going to be guarded and guided by those laws of moral judgment from within.

20:12 Well, the thing is, it's an indictment against our country is that we need so many laws. That's right. The laws are for the rebellious. The Bible says the laws are for the lawless. Yes, and so what happens? That's why we've got lots of laws. Okay, so but back to the separate, to separate the church and the state, you know brings a death blow to both to this and in this consideration and in processing this we must apply uh with diligence and responsibly the thing that is required of us at this time and that is you know bottom line and basic and simple is to vote that's you know at this point that's our duty that's our right our responsibility our obligation do and here's here's my my thing jerry i think a lot of christians you know they we think that we're exempt from these lowly endeavors because we're so superior yeah so superior spiritually that's to such a duty.

21:11 But you know don't do that don't believe that this is too low for you or you don't want to mess with politics or you don't want to get involved because it's too messy or you might get in trouble with your friends or your government because you so you just take no stand But when you take no stand, you've made a passive agreement with what's going on right now because you have not resisted it. The Bible says, submit to God, resist the devil. And if you're taking no stand, and I'm not saying, you know, you will know if you're following God, you will know what to do. But we're just saying exercise your right, your God-given right that many people died. Soldiers, battles, wars died to give you this right.

21:52 And you're going to throw it back in their face. say, oh, this is a small thing. I don't have time to vote today. I've got, you know, too many things to do. Please, for the sake of your walk with God, do your divine public duty and exercise your right and your responsibility to vote. And so let's not think that we're exempt or superior or this is below us as citizens, it is our duty before God and our fellow man to vote for righteousness and for the restoration of peace and justice and morality and truth in this nation, which we call our home.

22:32 So if we do not exercise our right, then don't complain with what happens. And so I believe that right now we have got, you know, we're in this final hours moments before this huge decision is made. And bottom line, ultimately, you know, we're not here to. To tell or predict what's going to happen. But we are here to declare that the Lord God sits as God on his throne and is over all of this and that the nations will answer to him. And ultimately, whatever happens at our election, I mean, I believe we are almost the flickering last hope for the world.

23:21 But I don't think the world ultimately or us ultimately will figure this out. We may figure this out for another couple of years, but ultimately people, the Lord God is coming back to deal with our decisions and who we have allowed to rule us, which is basically many human beings that are put in place by the enemy. And we're heading to the book of Revelations. We are heading to the prophets, the words in the words of Zechariah and Daniel. We're heading there, not because of doom and gloom, but we're here because a new order is coming.

24:03 And the new world order is God on his throne and Jesus Christ, his kingdom. He will rule for a thousand years in Jerusalem as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He will deal with his enemies. You can read it in the last book of the Bible. And I would encourage, if you haven't checked out Revelations lately, that should be on the top of your reading list in the next couple of days because this is all going to go down as the word of God says it will because God is sovereign over all the nations. He is sovereign and you want to be on God's side when this is all said and done and wrapped up and rolled up. You want to be on God's side. There's no other place you want to be.

24:45 And it's important for you to do your due diligence on the candidates, the issues, not personalities. Don't just say, well, I just kind of like this one. I kind of like that one. Personalities, no, policies, you know, and we're not, human government is far from perfect, but you have to decide who is closest to. What God wants. What God wants. What God would, yeah. So again, yeah, let's pray, honey. That's a lot of stuff for them to think about and a lot is on our plate right now as a nation. Father, we just thank you for our nation.

25:32 Lord, we're so sorry as a nation how we have rejected you. Yes, forgive us, Lord. And violated your word and twisted your word. Ignored it. Yeah, all of that. All of that, Lord. And we just pray that there would be in your mercy, in your grace, in your long suffering, that there would be a widespread national turning to righteous, not just turning to some religious system, but turning to you, Lord, and crying unto you. You're our only hope, Lord God. And I pray that we would do, you said, to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's unto God, the things that are God's. We have the privilege of voting.

26:22 Lord, we don't know how much corruption there is in the counting of the votes. And all that, but we have that responsibility to do that, Lord. Yes. And Lord, let it not be another atrocity where people who claim to love the Lord refuse to vote. Yes, Lord, forgive us. And yes, I agree that we will, as the righteous people of God. Do what you have called us to do in this hour, Lord God, to stand. And having done all to stand, as you said in Ephesians chapter 6. So again, forgive us, Lord. We repent. We ask for your mercy. We ask for your mercy instead of your judgment. And we ask for the extension of your grace, Father, over all of us because of the children, because of the grandchildren, because of those who have never, never known anything of evil or good.

27:13 Lord, they don't even know the right hand from their left hand, as God said to Jonah in the book of Jonah. So Lord, help us now, Father God, to receive understanding, wisdom, courage, and do that which is right in your sight, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Thank you for joining us today.
